Figaro de Montmartre springs from a combination of B-sides and electro sounds, drawing from the Montmartre Cabaret Scene and focusing on cinematic and timelessness, spices up with a wide range of influences such as trip hop, jungle, electro dub, break beat… Tecla and Figaro met behind the scenes of a Parisian cabaret… a few hours later, counting nights, they started recording their first track, then their second and thirdby the fifth track, which brings us to a few weeks later, counting days, they realised that an album was under waya few moons later, during the première of feature film Jenny Bel Air in the Elysées Biarritz, they savoured the audiences reactiona few mornings later, Electro Vintage had found its scenic colour and dreamlike decorFigaro de Montmartre is born. Long live the night!

Le groupe est une combinaison de faces B et de sons électro, inspirée par la scène du Cabaret de Montmartre, entre 1925 et 1975.
La poésie dAimé Césaire, les chansons de Gainsbourg, Colette Renard, Joséphine Baker renaissent dans un son explosif animé d’influences trip hop, drum’n bass, jungle, dub, break beat version Augustus Pablo, Lee Perry, Roni Size ou Massive Attack.
